Besides system-related announcements and dragon-specific items, KaniS also posts environmental and political news and alerts. Many dragons feel a connection to nature and do not see humans as having a greater right to life and health than other earthly creatures, making protection of the environment a Draconic perspective. Many dragons also feel trapped in bodies or genders not of their choosing, and this means that political issues such as gay marriage rights are also important to many dragons. KaniS believes that if he was born on earth for a reason, it must be to do some good for this planet, and that is what his environmental and political alerts seek to accomplish, with your help.

System News	An announcement which directly relates to Draconic and its systems.
Dragon News	News about an exciting new dragon-related issue, such as a new dragon game or movie.
Environment Alert	News or information about environmental issues, because many dragons feel a connection to nature or otherwise care about the state of life on this planet.
Political Alert	News or information about political issues. These tend to be issues that dragons would care about, such as gay rights (many dragons are one gender of spirit trapped in a human body of the opposite gender) or the support of environmentally conscious political candidates.
Misc News	Whatever doesn't fit into one of the categories above. This type of news will probably not be used much.
